Gerrard back at Melwood for his first training session under Klopp

The former Liverpool captain got to experience life under the new Reds manager today.

AFTER WATCHING LIVERPOOL’S 1-0 win over Swansea from the stands on Sunday, Steven Gerrard returned to his old club for a spot of training this afternoon.

The ex-Liverpool skipper took part in a session at Melwood — his first under new Reds boss Jürgen Klopp – after accepting their invitation keep fit during the MLS off-season.

Despite suggestions that the LA Galaxy midfielder could sign back on a short-term deal, Klopp has insisted there is no chance of that happening.
