The dazzling wing, who is the top try-scorer in the Pro12 this season with 12, was red carded for a dangerous tackle on Garry Ringrose in last weekend’s semi-final win over Leinster at the RDS.

The 22-year-old’s tackle was considered by a Pro12 Disciplinary Panel this morning in Edinburgh.
The three-man panel decided that Evans “undertook a lawful tackle in a manner that was consistent with the laws of the game” and ruled that the “tackle only became dangerous as a result of the intervention of Scarlets No 3 (Samson Lee).”
The panel also referenced an incident involving Scotland players Ross Ford and Jonny Gray at the 2015 Rugby World Cup – when they had three-week suspensions overturned – in deciding, by a majority, that Evans’ red card should be rescinded.
The Scarlets flyer is therefore free to line out against Munster on Saturday at the Aviva Stadium [KO 6.15pm, TG4/Sky Sports].
Evans will be a big threat to Rassie Erasmus’ side in Dublin, having underlined once again last weekend just how dangerous he is in attack.
