Everton teenager returns home to join St Pat's until the end of the season

Liam Buckley adds Stephen Kinsella to his squad for the run in.

IRELAND UNDERAGE INTERNATIONAL Stephen Kinsella will return home to gain first team experience at St Patrick’s Athletic until the end of the domestic season.

The League of Ireland club this morning announced a loan deal for the Everton teenager, which sees the Dubliner move to Richmond Park until October.

Kinsella, a product of Templeogue United’s youth system, earned a scholarship contract with Everton in 2014 and has already represented Ireland a U15 and U17 level.

“Steven will be a great addition to our squad and we’re really looking forward to him representing the club,” St Pat’s manager Liam Buckley told the club’s official website.

“There is no doubt that Steven has fantastic ability and is a great talent. He has trained with us a little bit and has fitted in well so we’re looking forward to seeing him make his first appearance with us soon.”

The highly-rated winger will be available for the Saints’ next SSE Airtricity League fixture against Wexford Youths on Monday evening.
