LOI club welcomes Scottish fans to Dublin with 'Free Kilt Friday'

Go down to Richmond Park in your tartan tonight and you’ll get in for nothing.

OVER 10,000 SCOTLAND fans are expected in Dublin this weekend for the Euro 2016 qualifier against Ireland.

And SSE Airtricity League Premier Division club St Patrick’s Athletic are hoping to take advantage of the arrival of the Tartan Army with an ingenious special offer.

Any fan who shows up to Richmond Park for tomorrow night’s league meeting with Limerick wearing a kilt will be allowed through the gates free of charge.

“The offer applies to all fans, be they part of the Tartan Army, followers of the Super Saints, or indeed anyone who has never been to Richmond Park before and fancies taking in a game,” say the Saints, who are calling it ‘Free Kilt Friday’.

In keeping with the Scottish theme the club shop will also be getting in a special delivery of shortbread biscuits and Irn Bru to add to its range of refreshments.”

As one colleague suggested on Twitter, that’s one way to (quite literally) get bums on seats.
