FOOTBALL FANS AROUND the country are counting down the days to the new SSE Airtricity League season — and these sixth class students in Tallaght are no different.

Shamrock Rovers host St Patrick’s Athletic in a mouthwatering Dublin derby on opening night, a fixture which has divided Dermot Looney’s class in St Dominic’s National School.

Both sets of fans showed their support today and threw a little wager into the mix.

The big question is: who will have a night off homework on Monday?
