DANIEL STURRIDGE WILL make his first Liverpool start in almost two months this evening.
The striker, who played 20 minutes as a substitute against Swansea last weekend, has been named in Jürgen Klopp’s side to face Southampton.
A nightmare run of injuries have sidelined Sturridge since the Merseyside derby on 4 October.
He returns as part of an experimental side for the Capital One Cup quarter-final at St Mary’s.
