The pressure was on Mickey Moran’s side to match the achievement of the club’s hurlers and camogie players heading into today’s clash against Kilcoo, who have won five Down county titles in a row.

But Slaughtneil produced the goods and were never behind as they claimed a three-point win at Armagh’s Athletic Grounds this afternoon.
Moran’s charges once again delivered a solid display and they have yet to concede a goal in their seven championship matches.
The south Derry club will face Dublin’s St Vincent’s or Offaly champions Rhode in the All-Ireland semi-finals.
