Sky Sports to air Premier League Saturday 3pm kick-offs for the first time

The matches will be exclusive to Irish customers.

SKY SPORTS WILL kick-off their new live coverage of Saturday 3pm Premier League matches with the meeting of Everton and Tottenham on 13 August.

Back in November, the subscription broadcaster announced that it would be airing games that begin at 3pm on Saturday afternoons for the first time.

Exclusive to Irish customers on Sky Sports 5, they will make up 33 of the 159 English top flight fixtures being shown live this season.

Hayley McQueen is set to present the programme alongside former Ireland striker Niall Quinn, who were both in Dublin today to launch the coverage, while Jamie Carragher, Jamie Redknapp and Graeme Souness will be regular guests.

The coverage begins on the opening day of the new campaign as Everton, under new manager Ronald Koeman, host Spurs at Goodison Park.

And here is the schedule for the following five weeks:

  • 20 August: Burnley v Liverpool
  • 27 August: Watford v Arsenal
  • 10 September: Stoke City v Tottenham
  • 17 September: Hull City v Arsenal
  • 24 September: Swansea v Manchester City
