THE WOMEN’S FAI Cup final never fails to deliver and this year’s edition went the distance.
Twelve months ago we were treated to Katie McCabe’s superlative free-kick as Raheny United edged past UCD Waves to lift the FAI Women’s Cup.
And Siobhan Killeen followed suit with this spectacular curling finish from just outside the box.

The 22-year-old picked the ball up 40 yards from goal before manufacturing a yard of space for herself to aim fire.
Substitute goalkeeper Tamara Furlong had no chance.
A goal worthy of winning any game, not least a cup final.
But just as it looked like Killeen would be the cup final hero for the second year running, Wexford Youths conjured a late equaliser.
So much drama in one passage of play.
There was more drama to follow. With just five minutes of extra-time remaining, Maria Delahunty produced this volley.
Only for Shels to go down the other end and force the game into penalties.
What a game.
