This stunning Shelly Farrell goal was worthy of winning any All-Ireland final

Kilkenny’s camogie teams are celebrating a glorious double tonight.

KILKENNY’S LONG WAIT to be crowned All-Ireland camogie champions is finally over, and Shelly Farrell crowned an unforgettable day with this stunning goal.

Kilkenny led Cork by four points with 20 minutes to play when Farrell found herself on the end of this brilliant team move.

Her finish, rattled into the top corner with power and precision, gave Cork keeper Aoife Murray no chance.

Kilkenny never looked back and, even after a late Cork goal, ran out four-point winners to lift the O’Duffy Cup for the first time in 22 years.
