Shansuke Nakamura rolls back the years with a perfect 90th minute free-kick

Celtic fans have permission to get misty eyed.

CELTIC FANS, PREPARE to get emotional.

Shansuke Nakamura had a cult following during his four years at Celtic, and they’ll remember him forever as the man whose stunning free-kick helped them defeat Manchester United in 2006.

The Japanese midfielder eventually moved on from Glasgow in 2009, but now at 37-years-of age, he’s showing he’s still got one of the best left pegs around.

Now playing for J League side Yokohama F Marinos, Nakamura’s side found themselves 2-1 down with just 30 seconds of injury time to play.

They won a free kick around 25 yards out from goal, and the former Celtic man planted the ball perfectly into the top corner of the goal, giving the keeper no chance.

Still got it.
