Shane Long performs his own version of My Way at Southampton's awards night

Ronald Koeman appeared to be impressed by the Ireland striker’s talents.

SHANE LONG RARELY passes up an opportunity to break out the guitar and give us a song.

So when Southampton held their end-of-season awards night over the weekend, the Ireland striker was invited up on stage.

29-year-old Long, who has enjoyed his best season as a Premier League player with 14 goals in all competitions for the Saints, impressed manager Ronald Koeman and his team-mates with his own version of My Way.

In place of Frank Sinatra’s lyrics, however, the Tipperary man sang about the club he joined from Hull City in 2014.

And thankfully Southampton coach Jan Kluitenberg recorded the performance for all of us to see…
