SHANE DUFFY REGISTERED a goal against his former club Blackburn for the fourth time this season, but this time he was happy to see the ball go into the back of the net.

The ex-Everton schoolboy scored an own goal in a 3-0 defeat to Wigan and then did so twice in a 2-1 loss to Cardiff before he made the move down south.
On his return to Ewood Park tonight, Duffy headed home from Oliver Norwood’s corner to give his side a 1-0 lead. Dale Stephens and Glenn Murray also hit the target to seal a 3-2 win for Chris Hughton’s team.
Brighton now find themselves in top spot having extended their unbeaten run to 14 games in the Championship.
Elsewhere Cork centre-back John Egan was part of the Brentford side who defeated Bristol City 1-0, while former Irish U21 international Matt Doherty found the net for Wolves against Cardiff City in a 2-1 defeat.
