Ireland pair Duffy and O'Kane involved in minor car crash on the way to training camp

Thankfully, the players were unharmed and they have linked up with the rest of the squad.

IRELAND INTERNATIONALS SHANE Duffy and Eunan O’Kane were involved in a minor car crash today.

Brighton defender Duffy and Leeds midfielder O’Kane were travelling to Dublin to link up with the squad ahead tomorrow’s departure for the US when the road accident occurred.

According to a short statement released by the FAI, however, neither player suffered any injuries and they have since arrived safely at the team hotel in Castleknock.

Derry natives Duffy and O’Kane are among the 19 names picked for this Thursday’s friendly against Mexico in New Jersey.

O’Neill’s men train at the FAI’s headquarters tomorrow morning before their flight to America later in the day.
