Bad news for Ireland as one of their returning stars pulls up in the warm-up

Sean O’Brien has been ruled out of today’s game.

IRELAND ARE ABOUT to kick off their Six Nations campaign against Italy but they were dealt a major blow in the warm-up after Sean O’Brien tweaked his hamstring. The marauding flanker went to ground with the ball but the seemingly innocuous action was followed by a grimace and immediately it looked like there was a problem.

Tommy O’Donnell will start at number seven instead of O’Brien with Robbie Diack moving onto the bench.
