Everton's Seamus Coleman nearly lost his crown jewels when scoring in tonight's Wankdorf win

The full-back risked his manhood to put the Toffees in front.

EVERTON WERE THE first of four British teams in Europa League action tonight, and a goal from Ireland’s Seamus Coleman helped them to 4-1 win against Young Boys at the Stade de Suisse Wankdorf.

Young Boys actually took the lead in the tenth minute thanks to a lovely strike from Guillaume Hoarau, before Romelu Lukaku levelled for Everton with 24 minutes on the clock.

Four minutes later, Coleman scored from close range to put Everton in front… but almost did a ‘Phil Babb’ in the process. Ouch!

Lukaku scored his second in the 39th minute and completed his hat-trick with 13 minutes played in the second half, giving Roberto Martinez’s men a three-goal advantage.

Everton were then reduced to ten men. John Stones was shown a straight red card for pulling down Hoarau, but he ballooned the resultant penalty well over the crossbar.

The Premier League side are now well placed to reach the last 16, with the Swiss club needing to overturn a 4-1 deficit at Goodison Park next Thursday.
