Almost five months after his horrific leg break Seamus Coleman is back in training for Everton

The defender suffered a double fracture during a World Cup qualifier with Wales in late March.

SEAMUS COLEMAN RETURNED to training today, almost five months after breaking his leg following a horrific challenge from Neil Taylor in a World Cup qualifier against Wales.

coleman 140 days after his leg break, the 28-year-old was back on the training field alongside his Everton team-mates.

The player has stepped up his rehabilitation by working outdoors at Everton’s USM Finch Farm training complex, undergoing running exercises with club medical staff.

Coleman suffered a double fracture following a late challenge from Wales defender Taylor.

The Donegal man was immediately stretchered off with early reports suggesting he would remain out until 2018.

coleman3 Coleman is aiming to be back in action before the end of 2017.

However the 28-year-old is hopeful to be back in action for the Toffees before the end of the year.
