Seamus Callanan cleared to line out for Tipp as red card overturned

The CAC overturned the dismissal.

TIPPERARY’S HURLERS HAVE received a huge boost with the news that Seamus Callanan has been cleared to play in this weekend’s league semi-final against Waterford.

The Premier man saw his red card rescinded by the CAC late last night.

Callanan was dismissed in the quarter-final win over Offaly last time out for an off-the-ball incident.

“Following a meeting of the Central Appeals Committee tonight, Tipperary GAA County Board can confirm that Seamus Callanan won his appeal against his red card v Offaly and will be available for selection for this Sunday’s League semi-final v Waterford,” a statement reads.
