Oh balls! Tonight's Scottish Cup draw went horribly wrong live on Sky Sports

You had one job!

THERE WAS UNEXPECTED drama during the draw for the Scottish Cup quarter-finals this evening.

The draw, which was being shown live on Sky Sports News, descended into farce shortly after it commenced at Hampden Park.

One tie, Dundee United v Celtic, had already been drawn before the SFA President called a halt to proceedings when he noticed one of the balls had already been opened.

The reaction of Sky Sports presenter David Tanner is priceless, as is the utter confusion etched on the face of former Celtic midfielder Lubo Moravcik.

Organisers had to scrap the draw and after a brief delay, restart it with all eight balls back in the pot.

At the second attempt, Celtic were paired with minnows Greenock Morton while the cup holders Inverness will face the winner of Hearts and Hibernian’s replay.
