This Sammy Ameobi miss is the definition of a 90th-minute sitter

Oh dear.

SAMMY AMEOBI WON’T want to see this one again.

The Cardiff City striker had a glorious chance (that’s an understatement) to snatch all three points in the last minute of last night’s scoreless draw against Bristol City.

Ameobi was just three yards out when the ball was squared to him with only Bristol keeper Frank Fielding to beat.

In his defence, the ball was coming at pace, the angle was marginally off, and the keeper had his near post covered.

But surely — SURELY — he should have at least hit the target and forced Fielding to make a save?

Nope.

And judging by his reaction, he knows it.
