Sam Oji wants an apology for his red card or it's 'an RKO outta nowhere'

The Galway defender was harshly dismissed at the weekend.

GALWAY UNITED SECURED their first win of the 2015 season on Friday when they beat Drogheda United 1-0 at Eamonn Deacy Park.

However, they had to do so with just 10 men after Sam Oji was shown a straight red by referee Graham Kelly for this incident with Tiarnan Mulvenna.

It does look like there was minimal contact between the pair and, after watching the replay last night on RTÉ’s Soccer Republic, Oji was even more certain he should never have seen red.

We’re fairly certain he’s joking.
