LIVERPOOL HAVE COMPLETED the signing of Sadio Mane from Southampton for a deal reported to be worth €36 million.
The forward becomes Liverpool’s third-most expensive signing and is Jurgen Klopp’s fourth acquisition in charge following the arrival of Marko Grujic, Joel Matip and Loris Karius.
Only Andy Carroll (€42 million) and Christian Benteke (€39 million) have cost the Reds more.

Mane completed a medical at Melwood yesterday after the two clubs agreed a deal which sees the Senegal international become the fifth player to leave Southampton for Anfield since 2014.
He will wear the number 19 shirt after signing a ‘long-term’ contract with the Reds.
“I knew Liverpool were interested in me, I had some [other] opportunities, but I think for me this is the right club, the right coach and the right moment to change,” he told the club’s website.
“I am very happy to be a part of Liverpool Football Club.
“He [Klopp] said he wanted me to come to play for Liverpool. I didn’t even have to ask myself, I said straight away ‘yes, I am interested’ because I know Liverpool.
“I am convinced Liverpool are the right club for me with the right coach.”
The 24-year-old scored 11 goals in the Premier League for Southampton last season.
