Hull players showed their support for team-mate Ryan Mason before tonight's game

The midfielder continues to recover in hospital but he was very much on the minds of everyone at the KCOM Stadium.

HULL CITY’S PLAYERS showed their support for team-mate Ryan Mason before tonight’s EFL Cup semi-final second leg against Man United as the club play their first game since his injury.

The midfielder suffered a fractured skull after a nasty clash of heads with Chelsea’s Gary Cahill last Sunday but is said to be making good progress in hospital after surgery.

Ahead of tonight’s game, Mason’s team-mates wore t-shirts with his name and number written on the back as they warmed-up.
