CANADIAN MMA FIGHTER Ryan Jimmo, 34, died yesterday after a hit-and-run incident in Edmonton.
MMAJunkie confirmed the victim to be Jimmo last night after CBC News reported an altercation in the early hours of Sunday morning. The incident is being dealt with by the city’s homicide unit, who are searching for a dark pick-up truck which caused the fatality.
The report says that Jimmo “walked up to the occupants of the other vehicle. When he began to walk away, police say the suspects’ vehicle accelerated and struck him before leaving the scene.”
