He took a wild swing at the ball before stopping to admire his work, but seconds later he hit panic stations, after realising that not only was his kick short of the touchline, but a Featherstone winger was charging it down.
He couldn’t get back on time. The winger snapped it up and crept in for a try to tie the game, before the conversion won it for Featherstone.
