Roy Keane 'being considered' for Israel manager's job - reports

This would be a mad one.

ISRAELI MEDIA CLAIM the country’s top football official is considering an approach for Roy Keane.

News outlet ONE claim Ofer Eini, the chairman of Israel’s FA, wants to replace current boss Elisha Levi after the current qualifying campaign, with Keane in the mix to be offered the job.

Israel are currently fourth in Group G behind leaders Spain and Italy — who are both on 16 points — and Albania.

Keane has been assistant to Martin O’Neill since the Derryman took over in 2013 and signed a contract that brings him up to the World Cup in Russia.
