CORK CITY AND Derry City’s FAI Cup replay looked to be heading for extra time last night before Ross Gaynor intervened with this beauty.
Gaynor connected perfectly with a 25-yard volley to break the deadlock with 16 minutes to play in Turner’s Cross.
It was a goal worthy of winning most games and set Cork on the way to a 3-0 win and a place in the final four.
They now play Bray Wanderers, with Dundalk taking on Longford in the second semi-final.
