Rory McIlroy has only gone and bagged first professional hole-in-one in Abu Dhabi

The world number one holed on the 15th during this morning’s second round.

AFTER TOM LEWIS and Miguel Angel Jimenez both hit holes in one during yesterday’s opening round at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, Rory McIlroy has quickly followed suit this morning.

Using a 9-iron from 177 yards, the 25-year-old claimed his first professional hole in one on the 15th. He finished the round two shots off Martin Kaymer on 11 under par with a 66.

It could be a great start to 2015.
