The trio sat out last weekend’s loss to Glasgow Warriors, who now sit level on points with the fifth-placed northern province, but have a game in hand.

Payne returns to provincial duty as a fullback having played only centre under Joe Schmidt’s watch. Luke Marshall and Stuart McCloskey take up the midfield spots with Darren Cave and Stuart Olding among the replacements. Ruan Pienaar, Paddy Jackson and Craig Gilroy complete a potent back-line.
