FORMER IRELAND OUT-HALF Ronan O’Gara has signed a contract extension with Top14 side Racing Metro and will stay in Paris until 2019.

O’Gara is already in his third season in France, moving on from a kicking and skills remit when he arrived with Jonathan Sexton to take charge of the Ciel et Bleu‘s defence.
With Racing sitting top of the league after 16 games, O’Gara has clearly impressed while working under coaches Laurent Labit and Laurent Travers.

In a short statement released by Racing Metro 92 today, O’Gara thanked the head coaches and Jacky Lorenzetti for their confidence in him.
