DUNDALK HAVE MADE a hugely significant addition to their squad as manager Stephen Kenny continues to rebuild for the 2018 season.
The Lilywhites have today confirmed the signing of striker Ronan Murray from Galway United.
Murray joined the Tribesmen ahead of the 2017 campaign. Despite scoring 17 times in 38 appearances, he was unable to prevent them from avoiding relegation from the Premier Division.
The 26-year-old Mayo native, who was also a target for double winners Cork City, was named in the 2017 PFAI team of the year and picked up the SWAI/SSE Airtricity League player of the month award for August.

A former Republic of Ireland U21 international, Murray scored on his first-team debut for Ipswich Town in a League Cup win against Exeter City in 2010. But with his progress hampered by injuries, he returned home to Ireland this year following three seasons at Notts County.
Murray is Dundalk’s fourth new signing for next season. With the Louth outfit aiming to rebound from missing out on a fourth consecutive Premier Division title and a penalty shootout defeat in the FAI Cup final, last Friday they announced the additions of striker Patrick Hoban and defensive pair Stephen Folan and Dean Jarvis.
