Real Madrid are still celebrating a goal-scoring record Ronaldo may not have actually set

The attacker received a made-up award and posed with all his trophies.

REAL MADRID FAILED to let official statistics dampen their spirits as they hosted a party to celebrate Cristiano Ronaldo scoring his 324th goal for the club against Malmo on Tuesday.

According to Uefa, that effort only brought him level with Raul’s haul of 323 as confusion continues to surround a goal scored over five years ago.

Against Real Sociedad, Ronaldo appeared to score directly from a free-kick. However, his effort took a significant deflection off Pepe and La Liga authorities credited the defender with the goal.

Real Madrid disagree and presented Ronaldo with a special trophy to mark his goal anyway with every single trophy he’s won with the Spanish giants forming the backdrop.
