'Hopefully back soon stronger': Robbie Keane had an operation on his knee today
ROBBIE KEANE IS the latest Ireland star to go under the knife in a bid to be fit for Euro 2016.
Ireland’s record goalscorer posted a hospital bed picture to Instagram this evening following a procedure on his right knee.
“Operation done, speedy recovery, hopefully back soon stronger,” the LA Galaxy star wrote.
Keane flew back to Dublin for the friendlies against Switzerland and Slovakia, but played no part and returned to Southern California for treatment on a mystery knee injury that had not cleared up.
