Watch: Robbie Keane's finishing instincts looking as sharp as ever for LA Galaxy

It took the Dubliner less than 10 minutes to find the net after being introduced as a substitute.

AFTER BRINGING THE curtain down on his Republic of Ireland career, Robbie Keane wasted no time in getting back to business at club level.

When announcing his international retirement, Keane indicated his desire to continue playing club football for a few more years and the 36-year-old striker showed that his instinct is as sharp as ever with a goal in LA Galaxy’s 4-2 win against Orlando City.

The former Tottenham Hotspur forward was on the pitch less than 10 minutes when he struck Galaxy’s fourth and final goal in the victory, showing trademark composure to stroke home Giovani dos Santos’ cool lay-off.
