“MY THINKING WAS that I’d either get punched in the face by Robbie or I’d play him,” Bruce Arena joked as LA Galaxy beat Comunicaciones FC on Tuesday night.
Just three days after Keane scored twice against FC Dallas, the 35-year-old came off the bench to hit another double in the 5-0 win.
His first, three minutes from time, was a simple tap-in following an unselfish pass by Giovani dos Santos.

And Keane followed that up two minutes later with a little dink over Comunicaciones’ keeper Juan Paredes.
Nice touch, shame he left the prem he still had a lot to offer the league
Did he though? I mean really? His last season at Liverpool he was brutal
Liverpool were pretty much brutal all over the park last season. A better manager would have used him to great effect but Brendan ‘whats tactics’ Rodgers hasn’t the brain.
I’d have to disagree. I think he became a spent force. I honestly believe almost winning the league took everything out of him.
LARS. I’d say the Riot Squad are a right wild bunch altogether.
I thought he was a red head!!
Earn your respect ! Seems more like he’s trying to buy it
If Steven Gerrard was really as ordinary on the field as you and those like you constantly remind everyone else, you wouldn’t feel compelled to do so on literally every single article that’s written about him. All he’s done is buy a few beers to acknowledge the 4th july but even that gesture is scrutinised. Bit pathetic really.
Sad person? People like you always find the negative in a story
maybe he should bought prawn sandwiches…
Tell me where the positive is in the story ?
there’s a positive for the lads who got free gargle.
Nothing more then a PR stunt Paul
granted but free gargle has to be a positive
Likes his beer. Makes punching the DJ all the more enjoyable.
Those are nice beers as well. I’d love a few stones now
