MUNSTER FANS HOPING that Robbie Henshaw might be on his way to them had their hopes dashed by coach Anthony Foley after their disappointing home loss to Ospreys.
Foley was asked if Henshaw might be on his way to join the Reds after Connacht’s announcement this afternoon that he would be leaving at the end of the season.
But Munster fans hoping for a shock announcement as they came to terms with their third home loss in a row in the Pro12 were left disappointed.
“Look it’s old news really that he was gone from Connacht so wherever he’s going to go the best of luck to him,” said Foley.
“He’s been a good player for Ireland and a stalwart for Connacht for the period of time he’s been there so it’s interesting to hear that that’s been announced.
“I don’t know. It’s not my news so not something I want to be a part of.”

@Trevor Beacom: nope born in England to two Irish parents
Looking forward to John Cooney coming to Ulster. He could surprise a few people if he stays fit and if he gets game time. Paul Marshall really always has been an impact player. It will be interesting to see if he can gel with PJ and how well he can develop.
