THERE WAS FINALLY a breakthrough last night in the long-running saga involving the Republic of Ireland’s Robbie Brady as Norwich’s £7 million bid was accepted by Hull City.
Brady’s future at the KC Stadium has been in doubt ever since the club were relegated from the Premier League. With the squad needing to be trimmed, certain players were always likely to attract attention and Norwich identified the 23-year-old as a main target some time ago.

Brady will give Norwich plenty of options on the left side. His preferred position is high up the field though he easily slotted into a wing-back role at various times under Steve Bruce while at international level, he’s played at full-back also.
According to reports in recent days, fellow promoted side Watford had also entered the race for Brady’s signature but Norwich were dogged and when an initial offer of around 6 million was rejected, their improved bid last night ensured Hull finally relented.
Brady will join fellow Irish international Wes Hoolahan at Carrow Road.
