Robbie Brady wasn't the only Irishman to score a stunning goal yesterday

Irish fans will be hoping to see Brady continue his goalscoring form into next week’s World Cup qualifiers.

MANY IRISH SUPPORTERS were surprised to see Robbie Brady fail to secure a move to a Premier League club in the summer, after several impressive displays for Ireland during Euro 2016.

And last night at Molineux against Wolves, he showed once again what a special talent he is with a spectacular finish past the helpless Carl Ikeme in the home goal.

The 24-year-old’s strike proved decisive as Norwich earned all three points to move back into the automatic promotion places in the Championship with a 2-1 win.

Meanwhile in League Two, Dubliner Graham Carey netted his fifth league goal of the season, as his Plymouth side thrashed Yeovil 4-1 – with another wonderful finish.

The former Bohemians loanee netted 11 league goals last season for the Pilgrims as the 27-year-old claimed the PFA Fans’ League Two Player of the Season.
