Robbie Brady linked with a move to Premier League champions Leicester

IRELAND’S ROBBIE BRADY could be a Premier League player again sooner rather than later.

After his relegation from the top flight in the season just gone by, The Times reports that the Dubliner is a target for England’s reigning champions Leicester.

Despite the Canaries’ relegation, Brady generally impressed after joining the club from Hull last summer for £7 million, and came second in their player of the year awards (with Jonny Howson winning) amid the disappointing campaign.

Nevertheless, Norwich boss Alex Neil has indicated he is under no financial pressure to sell the club’s top stars and Brady has two years left on his current deal with the club.

The Ireland international is currently at Euro 2016 with his country and impressed in the Boys in Green’s recent 1-1 draw with Sweden.

The Foxes have already made one high-profile signing this summer, with German international goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler joining from Hannover 96.

Claudio Ranieri will be keen to further bolster his squad ahead of the new season, as they prepare to play Champions League football for the first time in their history.
