The 43-year-old World Cup winner decided to come out retirement last month in order to help Mogi Mirim – the club he is also president of – in their battle against relegation.

In his second game back, Rivaldo was invovled in all three goals as his side recorded a 3-1 win in the Brazilian second tier.

His 17th minute penalty was sandwiched between two goals from his son against Macae.

Rivaldo had originally retired in March 2015 after a glittering career in which he represented the likes of Barcelona, AC Milan and Olympiacos.
