MARTIN O’NEILL IS facing another injury setback with Richard Keogh set to miss Ireland’s World Cup play-off against Denmark.
The Boys in Green have their first training session in Abbotstown later today but Keogh is unlikely to feature.
The defender lasted just eight minutes of Derby’s defeat against Reading at the weekend after straining his quad in the warm-up.
“I don’t know how bad it is but I would suggest it wouldn’t be a good idea for him to travel,” Rams boss Gary Rowett told the Derby Telegraph.
“We hope it turns out to be not too bad,” he said.
O’Neill will provide a full squad update when he meets the media this afternoon.
