REAL MADRID ARE reportedly discussing a record-breaking sponsorship deal with American sportswear company Under Armour.
Spanish daily sport newspaper ‘Marca’ claims Los Blancos may be willing to end their longstanding deal with adidas, which has been the club’s sponsor since 1998.

The rumoured asking price from Madrid is at least €150 million per year, which would be the highest-value sponsorship deal in the world, outpacing Manchester United’s current deal with adidas (€95m) and Barcelona’s with Nike (€85m).
Under Armour already has a large presence in the United States, sponsoring American sports stars such as the NBA’s Stephen Curry, the NFL’s Tom Brady and Olympian Michael Phelps.
The company has deals with football clubs as well, with its 2011 kit deal with Tottenham Hotspur the most prominent.
Under Armour was in the news last week as another one of the teams it sponsors, St Pauli of the 2. Bundesliga, criticised the company for its support of US president Donald Trump.
