Bale on the scoresheet as Madrid storm back to take vital win

Despite falling two goals behind in the second half, Los Blancos’ stormed all the way back to take a much-needed win on the road.

GARETH BALE AND Cristiano Ronaldo bought Real Madrid back from a two-goal deficit, and Alvaro Morata closed the deal with a late winner as Los Blancos took a 3-2 result against Villarreal to climb back to the top of La Liga.

Manu Trigueros and Cedric Bakambu had Villarreal two goals to the good just after the interval, but Bale’s strike on 64 minutes started the comeback, with Ronaldo hitting from the 10 minutes later and Morata heading home the winner in the 83rd.
