Two backheels and bang! You really should see Reading's brilliantly-worked team goal

Nick Blackman finished off the move but it couldn’t prevent the Royals from suffering defeat last night.

READING LOST OUT 2-1 to Hull City in last night’s Championship meeting at the KC Stadium.

It will be little consolation to the Royals, who are set to appoint former manager Brian McDermott as their new boss, but they opened the scoring with a magical goal on 29 minutes.

The ball was worked down the right flank before Garath McCleary cut the ball back to Matěj Vydra and the Czech forward’s flick was superbly helped on by Oliver Norwood.

Waiting at the back post was Nick Blackman, who rifled the ball into the top corner.
