'Everybody looks fit,' says Rassie as Munster wind up for final push

The South African has no new injury concerns as he looks forward to a return to the Aviva Stadium to face Scarlets.

THE TRAINING LOADS were light at Munster’s University of Limerick training base today, but director of rugby Rassie Erasmus has no new injury concerns in the lead-up to Saturday’s Guinness Pro12 final against Scarlets.

Recovery was first on the agenda for most of the tournament’s top seeds after a convincing, but hard-fought 23 – 3 win over Ospreys at Thomond Park.

Keith Earls (shin), Andrew Conway (shoulder) and also Conor Murray — who got treatment on a shoulder knock during the game — are not in doubt to face Wayne Pivac’s dangerous Welsh side.

“It’s a different shoulder. Just a normal bump. Nothing serious,” Erasmus said in the province’s meeting room.

“We’re expecting everybody to train today. We won’t have a tough training session, because it was a pretty tough game on Saturday. But Earlsy looks okay. Andrew Conway had a bump on his shoulder, but he looks fine. Apart from that, everybody looks fit.”
