Hello, and welcome to tonight’s liveblog.

We’ll have the team news for you shortly…

The teams are in…

We’re underway…

It’s been an interesting start.

Barca have been passing the ball in their usual, ultra-composed manner, though PSG look bright on the counter-attack.

Barca are very much playing like the home team right now, retaining possession and looking to find an opening.

PSG, however, have been solid and disciplined so far, preventing Barca from creating a genuine chance, even if most of the game has been played in the French side’s half.

Chance for PSG!

Good break from the hosts and ball is crossed in to Matuidi, who scuffs his shot badly.

Still plenty of controlled possession from Barca.

PSG will do well to keep up this level of concentration and discipline for the full 90 minutes.

Great effort!

Suarez finds Messi with a cross, and the Argentine superstar hits the post with a curling shot from just outside the box.

In other Champions League-related news tonight…

PSG 0-1 BARCELONA (NEYMAR 18)

Lovely through ball from Messi, who finds an onrushing Neymar.

The Brazilian international proceeds to slot the ball coolly into the net to give Barca the advantage.

More bad news for PSG, as captain Thiago Silva goes off injured with a thigh problem.

David Luiz, who is only half-fit supposedly, takes his place.

Another fast break from PSG, but Mascherano makes a good challenge to stop Cavani playing through Pastore.

Something tells me that there’ll be more goals tonight.

Bayern have got one back against Porto to make it 2-1.

Thiago has scored an invaluable goal for the German side.

Pique is booked for cynically blocking Matuidi.

It’s been a good spell for PSG in these last few minutes.

Barca, however, catch the hosts out with an offside trap from the ensuing free kick.

Good cross from Maxwell to find Cavani.

However, it’s a tough chance on the volley for the Uruguayan, who steers it straight into Ter Stegen’s hands from a difficult angle.

It’s hard to see PSG getting back in this game at the moment.

They look very light on the rare opportunities they get to attack, with the strikers invariably a little isolated.

That said, Barca’s defence has looked a little nervous at times.

David Luiz breathes a sigh of relief.

The defender is caught in possession just outside his box by Luis Suarez, but the striker’s subsequent attempt to lob the goalkeeper is weak.

There will be two minutes of first-half stoppage time…

HALF-TIME: PSG 0-1 BARCELONA

It’s half-time, and Barca probably just about deserve their advantage going in at the break.

The Catalan side have enjoyed the majority of the possession, and looked more threatening in general.

PSG have defended with discipline — notwithstanding the Neymar goal — and created a few half chances.

However, at the moment, the hosts don’t quite look up to Barca’s level, and so only one team look like going through at the moment.

The second half is underway…

Good pressure from PSG on Barca forces the visitors to concede possession.

Pastore receives the ball just outside the box, but loses control of it, and the visitors clear.

Decent attempt by Pastore from outside the box.

Ter Stegen is consequently forced to parry the ball away.

Rabiot shoots straight at Ter Stegen.

Meanwhile, Iniesta is down injured after an innocuous-looking challenge by Pastore, and is then replaced by Xavi.

PSG have looked very lively at the start of this second half.

Messi is booked for a late challenge on Marquinhos.

Barca still look relatively comfortable, even if they have rarely gotten out of second gear tonight.

Neymar’s cross is well intercepted by Cabaye to deny Suarez from getting to the ball, after some good Barca build-up play.

The crowd are sounding a little subdued at the moment — can PSG produce something special to enliven them?

PSG have a four on three attack, but Pastore fails to control Cavani’s pass, and the move loses all its momentum.

The home side have been a little disappointing in the final third this evening, perhaps on account of the considerable defensive shift they’ve had to put in down the other end of the field.

A reminder of what a great player he is…

Jackson Martinez has given Porto a 3-1 lead against Bayern!

A big shock looks to be on the cards, though don’t forget Bayern drew with Shakhtar Donetsk away, before beating them 7-0 at home.

PSG 0-2 BARCELONA (SUAREZ 67)

Wonderful solo goal from Luis Suarez.

He nutmegs David Silva, before going past Marquinhos and finishing well past Sirigu.

Looks like that may well be game and tie over.

Cavani almost gives PSG hope, as his half volley from a knockdown at a corner is well saved by Ter Stegen.

PSG, who haven’t lost at home in Europe since 2006, need a goal urgently to have any realistic chance in this tie.

Mathieu has replaced Rakitic, meaning Mascherano will probably move into midfield.

PSG 0-3 BARCELONA (SUAREZ 79)

Brilliant again from Suarez, who nutmegs David Luiz, and slots the ball into the top corner with only the keeper to beat.

Game, set and match Barca!

PSG 1-3 BARCELONA (VAN DER WIEL 81)

Van Der Wiel takes a pot shot from outside the box and it deflects in off the substitute Mathieu.

Will that be little more than a consolation, or can it inspire a dramatic late PSG rally.

Big chance for PSG, as a last-ditch block from Mathieu prevents Cavani from getting a shot in from close range.

Barca, for all their brilliance, sometimes look a little vulnerable at the back.

Sirigu makes a straightforward stop from a curling Messi free kick.

The Argentine superstar is set to go five consecutive knockout matches without scoring for the first time, though let’s not forget his important contribution for the first goal.

FULL-TIME: PSG 1-3 BARCELONA

So that’s that. Barca end PSG’s 33-match home unbeaten run in Europe.

The visitors were deserving winners on the night, with Suarez, Messi and Neymar all effective at various points.

An injury-hit PSG were never really on top despite a couple of half chances, and Van Der Wiel’s deflected strike looks to be little more than a consolation, as the sides prepare to meet again at the Nou Camp.

Right, that’s all from me.
