WITH 2 JANUARY just around the corner, Premier League clubs will be preparing themselves for a busy month in the transfer market.
Some will be intent on splashing the cash in order to improve their respective hopes — whether that is challenging for the title, pushing for Europe or simply staying in the top flight.
For others, the main objective will be holding onto their most prized possessions.
Below, we’ve picked out 10 potential transfers that we hope to see in the coming weeks.
Nolito – Celta Vigo to Arsenal
The Gunners are keen to add to their attacking threat by bringing in 29-year-old Spanish forward Nolito.
The 29-year-old has scored seven goals in 10 matches for Celta Vigo this season and has reportedly attracted interest from Barcelona.

Juan Iturbe – Roma to Bournemouth
The 22-year-old Argentina winger, who was signed by Roma for €22 million in 2014, looks set for a loan move to the Premier League.
Watford appeared to be leading the race for his signature but Iturbe is now expected to link up with Bournemouth.

Charlie Austin – QPR to Crystal Palace
With on-loan Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford opting to return to his parent club, Crystal Palace are in the market for a goalscorer and have money to spend.
QPR’s Charlie Austin, with 10 goals in 16 league appearances, has turned down advances from Premier League sides in the past but could he finally be persuaded?

Steve Mandanda – Marseille to Liverpool
Liverpool are believed to be after a new goalkeeper with Jurgen Klopp supposedly unconvinced by Simon Mignolet and back-up Adam Bodgan.
At 30, Marseille’s Steve Mandanda, France’s second choice behind Hugo Lloris, could be a smart option as he is experienced at the top level and his current contract is up in the summer.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – Borussia Dortmund to Man United
The Gabon international is one of Europe’s prolific strikers right now thanks to 27 goals in 26 matches in all competitions for Borussia Dortmund.
Manchester United could certainly do with that type of ammunition at the moment but they may struggle to persuade the 26-year-old to make the move away from Germany at this moment and time.

Alan Dzagoev – CSKA Moscow to Newcastle
One of the most talented players in the Russian national team, Alan Dzagoev, 25, has played his club football with CSKA Moscow since 2008.
However, Steve McClaren plans to lure the attacking midfielder with a bid of around €13m (£10m) in the coming weeks.

Sandro Ramirez – Barcelona to Tottenham
Tottenham manager Maurico Pochettino is after cover for Harry Kane and 20-year-old La Masia product Sandro Ramirez, who can play up front or on wither wing, could fit the bill.
Spurs are believed to be planning a €12m (£8.8m) offer, but Barcelona may want to hold onto the Spanish U21 international.

Aiden McGeady - Everton to somewhere else
McGeady has played just 45 minutes of club football for Everton this season (in the Capital One Cup back in August) and badly needs a move away in January with Euro 2016 only around the corner.
His old club Celtic have been rumoured to be interested, but remaining in the Premier League would be a better option if possible.
