The top four to win, United to continue goal rush and other Premier League bets to consider

As always, we take absolutely no responsibility for Christmas money being thrown away this weekend.

1. Kane, Hazard and Costa to score at Stamford Bridge (30/1)

THE STANDOUT GAME of the weekend is at Stamford Bridge where Chelsea host London rivals Tottenham with much more than just bragging rights on the line.

Spurs will still be licking their wounds from a Champions League exit during the week and Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be desperate to make some sort of amends in this derby fixture.

Chelsea currently hold a one point advantage over Liverpool at the Premier League summit and have really hit their straps under Conte this term; six wins on the bounce is testament to that.

The last two Premier League games between the sides ended in a stalemate but all our money is going on a home win this time around with Chelsea’s formidable form too difficult to overlook.

We’re going for a goalscoring treble with Eden Hazard and Diego Costa to find the net at any time but also Harry Kane to be on the mark. High risk, but high reward.

2. Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal all to win

With Liverpool and Arsenal facing relatively straightforward home fixtures and Man City expected to pick up the points at Burnley, this four-game accumulator doesn’t look like a bad option.

Burnley’s home form has been decent but Sean Dyche’s side won’t be able to contain the threat Man City bring for the full 90 minutes. Anything other than an away win at Turf Moor would be a major surprise.

Similiary, Liverpool and Arsenal will ease past Sunderland and Bournemouth respectively so the outcome of this bet will hinge on the result at Stamford Bridge.

As mentioned above, Chelsea have momentum and history on their side and it’s hard to see Tottenham — after the disappointment of midweek — mustering a performance of the level required to come away with anything. Trips to Stamford Bridge are becoming as daunting for opposition teams as they were during Mourinho’s reign.

3. Man United to beat West Ham by four or more goals (17/2)

It has taken a while but Jose Mourinho’s Man United appear to be finally clicking into gear on the back of a couple of encouraging performances of late.

Thursday’s 4-0 victory over Feyenoord left Mourinho satisfied not only with the performance of his side at Old Trafford but also the result. It’s been a while since United have produced both.

They are certainly a work in progress but having scored eight goals in their last three outings, United are building up a bit of momentum and you’d expect them to continue that on Sunday.

West Ham are languishing in 17th position and have endured a wretched start to the campaign. It’s three games now since Slaven Bilic’s side recorded a Premier League win and it’s unlikely they’ll end that run at Old Trafford.

Given United’s record over the last number of seasons, this is a long shot but a relatively small bet has the potential to yield a healthy return.

4. Salomon Rondon to score first for West Brom at Hull (5/1)

Tony Pulis’ West Brom are enjoying a rich vein of form which has seen them come away from the home of the champions with the points and then put four past Burnley on Monday night.

A trip to Hull on Saturday provides the Baggies with a chance to make it three successive wins over a side who shipped three goals at Sunderland last time out.

Mike Phelan’s men are on a downward spiral and with resources limited, it’s all a bit gloomy around the KCOM Stadium at the minute. While this game should be an interesting tussle, West Brom should have enough about them and enough quality to prevail on this occasion.

Salomon Rondon is finally finding his feet in the Premier League and his early goal on Monday set his side on their way to a comfortable victory. We’re going for him to do the same this weekend.

5. Both teams to score but Middlesbrough to win at Leicester (15/2)

A bold bet, perhaps, but Leicester’s struggles have been well documented and Middlesbrough a side capable of upsetting the odds at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes are coming off the back of an incredible achievement having qualified for the Champions League knockout stages but they have been unable to convert that form into domestic competition.

Although a lot has changed, Leicester haven’t beaten Boro in the Premier League since November 2000 and the visitors gave Chelsea a run for their money last time out as well as drawing at Man City and Arsenal in recent weeks.
