It’s been a difficult season for the winger, who has made just 14 league appearances in total for the Toffees.

AIDEN MCGEADY WILL not want to look at the latest edition of the Liverpool Echo.

The paper asked fans to vote on the future of 15 first-team players, with McGeady the most popular choice to be sold — over 70% of voters want the Ireland international to leave at the end of the season.

In the poll in which almost 48,000 votes were cast overall, Luke Garbutt (97%) was overwhelmingky backed to stay, while 68% suggested Arouna Kone should be sold.

Tim Howard, Gareth Barry, Christian Atsu, Sylvain Distin and Antolin Alcaraz are among the other players that the majority of fans want out.
