THIS WEEKEND BRINGS two exciting clashes in the All-Ireland hurling championship.

hurlingqf Two quarter finals are down for decision this weekend.

Reigning All-Ireland champions Tipperary face an injury-stricken Clare side in Páirc Uí Chaoimh [Throw-in 3pm, Live on RTÉ].

The Banner are without both David McInerney and Aron Shanagher, while Michael Ryan’s Tipp features three changes from their previous win over Dublin.

Then on Sunday, beaten Leinster finalists Wexford go head-to-head with Waterford in search of a prestigious semi-final spot.

The redeveloped Páirc Uí Chaoimh also plays host to this fixture, with throw-in at 4pm [Live on RTÉ].

Twelve months ago, the Déise were comfortable victors over Wexford at the quarter-final stage, winning 0-21 to 0-11.
